Marvel Debuts “Avengers: Doomsday” Promo With MLB Stars During World Series Game 1

The exclusive preview features a new scene at Ebbets Field with the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom.

Marvel Studios debuted an exclusive look at “Avengers: Doomsday” during Game 1 of the World Series on Friday, with five Major League Baseball stars appearing in the promo, according to MLB.com. The players are Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman, Mariners outfielder Randy Arozarena, Brewers starter Jacob Misiorowski, Phillies first baseman and outfielder Bryce Harper and Rays third baseman Junior Caminero. Misiorowski was also the Game 1 starting pitcher.

The video includes a new scene from the film set at Ebbets Field, in the world of the Fantastic Four introduced in 2025’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” The Fantastic Four throw the ceremonial first pitch, with Reed Richards using his elastic arm, while Reed wears a Brooklyn Dodgers cap. The players were edited into the dugout for the promo. MLB.com speculated the setting could be a world where the Dodgers and Giants never left New York.

The promo ends with Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom appearing in the sky above the field. Harper notices him and tells the group they need to go right away to help the Avengers.
