‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 35 Begins With New Celebrity Cast

“Dancing With the Stars” returns for its 35th season with a new lineup of celebrities, returning professional dancers and a two-night premiere beginning Sept. 15. The latest season brings together actors, athletes, television personalities, musicians and social media figures competing for the Mirrorball Trophy.

The season premieres Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with episodes streaming the following day on Hulu. Among the celebrity contestants are actresses Jenna Dewan and Julia Stiles, chef Giada De Laurentiis, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Tatyana Ali, singer Taylor Hanson, Paralympic gold medalist Ezra Frech, Olympic gold medalist Amber Glenn, reality personalities Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller, television personality Tyler Cameron and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” personality Guillermo Rodriguez.

The professional lineup includes familiar names such as Val Chmerkovskiy, Alan Bersten, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov and Sharna Burgess, while Adele Zaikman joins the main cast after winning the inaugural season of “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro.” Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough return as co-hosts, with Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough serving as judges.

The opening week uses a two-night format, with the celebrity contestants divided between the two broadcasts. Following the premiere, the competition is scheduled to continue Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with contestants performing weekly as they compete for judges’ scores and audience votes.
