Trinidad and Tobago opens Nations League campaign against Haiti Thursday in Kingston. Gold Cup qualification is at stake.
Trinidad and Tobago begins its 2026-27 Concacaf Nations League campaign Thursday against Haiti at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica, in the opening match for both teams in League A Group A. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. Eastern time, with the match being played at a neutral venue in Jamaica.
The match is part of a six-team Group A that also includes Costa Rica, Curaçao, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Each team will play four group-stage matches during the September-October window, with the top two teams advancing to the League A quarterfinals. The competition also serves as qualification for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.
Haiti enters the tournament after appearing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Haitian team lost all three of its group matches against Scotland, Brazil and Morocco, with Wilson Isidor scoring Haiti’s only goal of the tournament in the defeat against Morocco. Trinidad and Tobago’s most recent international was a 3-0 friendly loss to Russia on June 9.
Trinidad and Tobago’s squad includes players such as Dante Sealy, Tyrese Spicer, Kobi Henry, Wayne Frederick and Nathaniel James. James, who plays for North Texas SC, has 23 international caps and six goals for the Soca Warriors, according to his club.
The match is scheduled to be televised in the United States on FOX Soccer Plus, with streaming available through FOX Sports Online. Fubo’s service information also lists the match among its available programming, although regional restrictions may apply.
The fixture begins a four-match September-October schedule for Trinidad and Tobago. The Soca Warriors will next face the Dominican Republic in Port of Spain on Sept. 27 before playing Curaçao twice, first away on Oct. 1 and then at home on Oct. 4.
