Wrestler Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac, has died at 40. A cause of death has not been disclosed.

Benjamin Satterley, the English professional wrestler known as Pac, has died at age 40, All Elite Wrestling announced late Sunday. The promotion did not provide a cause of death or say where he died. Satterley wrestled the night before, losing to Andrade El Ídolo in an AEW National Championship match at the company’s All Out pay-per-view event at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, outside Chicago.
A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began wrestling in 2004 and competed in promotions around the world, including in Japan and Mexico. He wrestled for WWE as Adrian Neville from 2012 to 2018 before signing with AEW in 2019. There he became the inaugural AEW International Champion and a two-time AEW World Trios Champion. According to the AEW website, he won 94 of his 147 matches with the company. AEW owner Tony Khan described him as a beloved husband and friend, and praised his athleticism, professionalism and dedication to the sport.
Tributes came from across the wrestling world. AEW’s Will Ospreay, a fellow Englishman who faced Satterley many times, called him the greatest export from their country and a hero to many. New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Mexico’s CMLL also offered condolences, according to CNN. His death comes weeks after AEW wrestler Andy Williams, known as The Butcher, died at age 48 after collapsing during an independent match in Pennsylvania, CNN reported, citing AEW. Officials have not linked the two deaths.
