Municipal Police Officer Jivan Cooper, is one of 3 persons charged with the murder of Corporal Anuska Eversley
Three men, including municipal police officer Jivan Cooper, have been formally charged with the murder of acting Corporal Anuska Eversley, who was killed at the San Fernando Municipal Police Station on Sunday.
The other two accused are a 24-year-old scrap-iron dealer and a 20-year-old construction worker, all from the Claxton Bay area. The trio have been jointly charged with murder, robbery with violence, firearm trafficking, and ammunition possession.
Police said the charges were approved by Director of Public Prosecutions Roger Gaspard following ongoing investigations into the incident and related recovery operations.
